“Judge Kavanaugh showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest, and riveting. Democrats’ search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!”

On September 26th 2018, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford told her story of sexual assault and testified against Brett Kavanaugh, the Supreme Court Justice nominated by President Trump. Ford accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault while they were at a party in 1972, and gave detail of her story, followed up by Kavanaugh’s testimony. These allegations come in light of the Me Too movement, which reached women and men internationally and gave them a platform to tell their story of sexual assault. Donald Trump did not revoke his support for Kavanaugh and instead remains supportive of his nomination.

“So if African-American unemployment is now at the lowest number in history, median income at the highest, and you then add all of the other things I have done, how do Democrats, who have done NOTHING for African-Americans but TALK, win the black vote? And it will only get better!”

_______________________________________________

It is unclear where his information is from that states he has done anything to decrease the unemployment rate of African-Americans. However, this is incorrect information that he spreads from month to month. The unemployment rate actually began its decline in 2015, under Obama’s administration. It is true, however, that the unemployment rate has continued to decline. In 2015, it was around 11.6%, and today it is 6.8%.

“Today, my Administration provided HISTORIC levels of funding to improve school safety through STOP School Violence grants - a top priority for @sandyhook. I am committed to keeping our children SAFE in their schools!”

_______________________________________________

Following the shooting at Stoneman Douglas this past February, Donald Trump has committed time to funding and helping schools implement the bipartisan STOP School Violence Act. This bill provides training to prevent all forms of violence and self-harm in schools. He has met with survivors of the Stoneman Douglas shooting and has also worked with Sandy Hook Promise in order to continue his work with prevention programs nationwide. Looking into the future, they hope to bring these prevention programs beyond our schools and into the nation as a whole to end gun violence.

“Walker Stapleton is running as the highly respected Republican Candidate for Governor of the Great State of Colorado. His credentials and talents are impeccable. He has my complete and total Endorsement!”

_______________________________________________

Walker Stapleton is currently serving his second year as treasurer and is running for Governor. The people of Colorado have been voting for Polis, his Democratic opponent who is leading by 11 points in the polls. President Trump has received backlash for his endorsement of Stapleton due to his disregard for environmental crises and impact of oil and gas development. It is clear Trump supports him for a good reason, as he has served Colorado for two years without problems and has only brought good to the state.

“To those in the Caravan, turnaround, we are not letting people into the United States illegally. Go back to your Country and if you want, apply for citizenship like millions of others are doing!”

_______________________________________________

Donald Trump has kept his promise he made during his campaign of cracking down on illegal immigration. This tweet makes his intentions more clear (against ILLEGAL immigration, not immigration as a whole), however, he has still received backlash from those in support of immigration and migrants. This tweet is a reference to the migrant caravan attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border. He has threatened the migrants, saying he will “deploy at least 800 troops to the border” in order to stop the caravan.
